Position Summary

The Regional Sales Director, Rest of Asia, leads the Asia sales team for PSG ROA region, encompassing Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Korea, and Australia, among other countries. This role involves planning, directing, and coordinating sales initiatives to achieve the BU's annual operating plan goals. The Regional Sales Director also facilitates communication between sales and other functional teams, regionally and globally, to establish common strategies, goals, and best practices. Additionally, they collaborate with product development, engineering, and other departments to drive a meaningful technical pipeline that supports long-term growth. Furthermore, the Regional Sales Director actively participates in all aspects of key customer and distribution relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • As the key strategic sales leader for the business unit reporting to the VP, Asia, you will supervise and coordinate the sales team, who will serve as the local market experts. Your primary responsibility will be to execute the growth strategy and achieve annual operating plan targets.
  • You will design and execute a global, multi-channel sales strategy with a focus on account relationships and growth. Ensure that all sales channels are trained in PSG products and sales approaches.
  • Actively involved in all aspects of key customer and distribution relationships, you will plan and execute engagement with channel partners for quarterly/annual business planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their business needs and objectives. Based on customer input and feedback, make changes to the sales strategy as needed.
  • Identify and recommend strategies to maintain and improve the organization's competitive position.
  • Communicate important information to the staff and sales team. You will also be the lead in handling customer issues as needed.
  • Develop and implement a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategy to manage interactions with customers and sales prospects. This strategy will organize, automate, and synchronize sales activities, marketing communications, customer service, and technical support.
  • Attract, develop, and retain talent to ensure that the right skills and motivation are in the right place at the right time.
  • Assess organizational capabilities and develop action plans to address gaps and weaknesses.
  • Provide regular coaching, guidance, and performance feedback.
  • Analyze and communicate regional sales forecasts.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree is required, with an MBA preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field and -10+ years of experience in the pump solution market and/or related areas, or equivalent experience.
  • Travel (drive and air) up to 50% of the time (including both domestic and international travel).
  • Attend trade shows and meetings as needed.

Work Arrangement: Remote

Pay Range: - per hour / annually

Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.

Commission Eligible: This position is eligible to earn commissions based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable commissions plan.

Other Compensation: This position is eligible to earn other compensation in the form of XX , as governed by applicable plan documents and policies.
