Regional Sales engineer - Projects

India

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for managing both project-based and product-based sales activities. The Engineer will also maintain sales records, track order progress, and assist in achieving sales targets for industrial automation projects and products.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and customer service practices.

· Assist in pricing, costing, and sales documentation for tenders, RFQs, and project bids.

· Prepare and issue quotations, proposals, and technical-commercial offers for automation products and projects.

· Follow up with customers for order confirmation, approvals, technical clarifications, and payments.

· Track and monitor sales orders, project progress, material readiness, and dispatch schedules.

· Act as a communication link between customers and internal teams for order execution and after-sales support.

· Coordinate with the sales team, engineering, and production departments for project and product sales activities.

· Maintain and update customer databases, sales pipeline, and order tracking in CRM systems.

· Organize and support customer meetings, technical discussions, and factory/site visits.

· Generate and share MIS reports, sales forecasts, and order status updates with management.

· Support marketing activities such as product presentations, exhibitions, and promotional events.

Skills & knowledge

· Knowledge of industrial automation products and manufacturing processes.

· Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.

· Ability to interpret technical requirements and communicate effectively with engineers and customers.

· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously.

· Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving ability.

· Self-motivated individual with proactive attitude towards achieving sales goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Diploma / B.E Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation preferred.

4–7 Years in industrial sales coordination, preferably in automation, control panels, or electrical manufacturing.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
