ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a motivated, results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our growing sales team. You will be responsible for managing, leading, and directing the regional field sales force to drive achievement of the company’s sales and profitability goals. You will ensure that all activities are conducted in full compliance with internal policies and external regulations, while fostering a high-performance, customer-focused sales culture.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers to support business growth and customer satisfaction.

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives through effective leadership and execution.

  • Maintain a high level of technical and clinical competency to support product positioning and customer engagement.

  • Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory requirements, including product complaint and Adverse Event reporting.

  • Partner with the Clinical Affairs Department to support clinical follow-up efforts, assist in screening and recruiting investigative sites, and provide clinical support during device implantations.

  • Collect, analyze, and communicate competitive intelligence to sales and marketing leadership.

  • Accurately develop and deliver sales forecasts and prepare reports, including monthly, expense, and other periodic reporting.

  • Oversee the selection, training, compensation, and motivation of field sales personnel to build and maintain an effective organization.

  • Conduct annual performance reviews, support subordinate development plans, and provide ongoing coaching and performance management.

  • Provide orientation and guidance to new sales team members to ensure consistent knowledge, presentation, and performance.

  • Assist in the execution of employee training plans and enforce compliance with all corporate policies.

  • Offer continuous guidance and direction to field personnel to foster both personal and professional growth.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

Education:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in relevant field.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of successful sales management experience in the medical device industry, vascular device experience is preferred.

Skills/Competencies:

  • Leadership & People Management – Proven ability to recruit, develop, motivate, and retain a high-performing sales team; skilled in coaching and conducting performance management.

  • Strategic Sales Execution – Demonstrated success in developing and executing regional sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets.

  • Technical & Clinical Acumen – Strong knowledge of medical device technologies, clinical applications, and ability to effectively communicate product value to physicians and healthcare professionals.

  • Regulatory & Compliance Awareness – Deep understanding of FDA, ISO, and other applicable regulations, with commitment to strict adherence in all reporting and sales activities.

  • Customer Relationship Management – Ability to establish and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with physicians, hospital staff, and key stakeholders.

  • Business & Financial Acumen – Skilled in sales forecasting, expense management, and analyzing data to drive profitable growth.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Experience working closely with Clinical Affairs, Marketing, and other internal teams to support clinical trials, product launches, and market development.

  • Communication & Presentation Skills – Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to present complex clinical and technical information clearly.

  • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making – Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities to navigate challenges and make sound business decisions.

  • Adaptability & Resilience – Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly regulated environment.

  • Competitive Market Awareness – Skilled in gathering, analyzing, and reporting competitive intelligence to inform sales and marketing strategies.

  • Training & Development – Capable of designing and delivering effective onboarding and ongoing training for field sales teams.

The compensation package includes:

  • Base salary of $205,000/yr + commission
  • Equity participation as approved by Board of Directors (4-year vesting schedule)
