What you’ll do?


  • Manage Sales Operations: Oversee all commercial vehicle sales through showrooms, individual buyers, corporate clients, rent-a-car, transportation, and hire/purchase/leasing companies in Western Province to ensure consistent and profitable revenue growth.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Plan and execute sales forecasts (monthly, quarterly, annually) as set by the Sales Head, while identifying new market opportunities and action plans to improve both short-term and long-term sales earnings.
  • Business Development: Build and maintain client relationships (existing and new), conduct effective presentations, monitor competitor activities, devise countermeasures, and expand market share to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Team Leadership & Coaching: Direct, control, and motivate the sales team by setting realistic monthly objectives, monitoring daily performance, conducting weekly meetings, and providing coaching and support to maximize each salesperson’s potential.
  • Operational & Credit Control: Review purchase orders, payment terms, and inventory reports daily; coordinate PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) with the workshop; manage short-term credit approvals and documentation; and ensure timely vehicle delivery and payment collection.


Who you are?


  • Experienced Industry Professional: You have overall 16 years of experience, with at least 13 years specifically in the commercial vehicle industry.
  • Qualified & Analytical: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or a related field, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trends.
  • Proven Sales Leader: You have a demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team, including setting objectives, counseling, and streamlining sales processes.
  • Skilled in Strategy & Communication: You are experienced in developing marketing and sales strategies, possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Client-Focused & Results-Driven: You excel at mapping client requirements, building relationships with major corporates, handling fleet customers for bulk deals, and maintaining excellent client relations to generate repeat business.
