About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to drive B2B direct sales and dealer network growth for our gensets business in Bangalore and South Karnataka. This role focuses on expanding market reach, managing key accounts, and achieving ambitious sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet revenue and profitability goals.
- Identify and grow new business opportunities across various sectors.
- Manage direct B2B sales to corporate clients, OEMs, government bodies, and industrial customers.
- Build, onboard, and develop dealers and distributors to expand market reach.
- Conduct dealer training on products, sales strategies, and service guidelines.
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers, procurement teams, and project managers.
- Lead pricing strategy, contract negotiations, tender submissions, and proposal development.
- Maintain CRM pipeline, track leads, and prepare sales forecasts and reports.
- Mentor and coach the sales team and channel partners to achieve targets.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in gensets, acoustics, power solutions, or capital equipment.
- Proven track record in closing large industrial deals and managing high-value accounts.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience with technical sales, tenders, contract management, and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of diesel and gas gensets, acoustic enclosures, and noise control solutions.
- Experience with government contracts, EPC companies, or industrial automation clients.
- Understanding of ISO, CPCB norms, and regulatory requirements related to gensets and acoustic solutions.
