Seaman Corporation is seeking a Regional Sales Manager - Canada to join our Commercial team! This position will report to the North American Sales Director.

POSITION SUMMARY
Seaman Corporation is seeking a highly strategic and entrepreneurial Canada Regional Manager to lead the long-term growth and market expansion of the FiberTite Roofing Systems business throughout Canada.
This role is responsible for developing and executing the strategic vision required to establish FiberTite as a leading premium roofing system within the Canadian marketplace. The Canada Regional Manager will evaluate the competitive landscape, market conditions, regional opportunities, distribution strategies, specification environment, and system performance requirements needed to successfully penetrate and grow market share across Canada.
This individual will serve as the business leader responsible for building the foundation for long term success in the Canadian market. The role requires a highly strategic mindset focused on market development, channel strategy, specification growth, team building, and identifying the product and system enhancements necessary to meet the unique environmental and performance demands of the Canadian roofing industry.
The Canada Regional Manager will work cross functionally with Sales, Product Management, Technical Services, Innovation & Technology, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership to create and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for Canada.
As the business grows, this individual will also be responsible for developing the organizational structure and building a high performing sales team capable of supporting the long-term expansion objectives of FiberTite throughout Canada.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Meets annual sales, margins, contribution margins, and profitability objectives.
  • Develops and implements tactical and strategic sales plans to meet annual corporate goals aligned with corporate strategic measurements.
  • Develops reliable and timely regional sales forecasts.
  • Reviews regional business conditions to determine customer needs, price schedules, and marketing needs.
  • Provides effective and timely communications across the business to regional associates, manufacturing reps, and customers including liaison among corporate technical support, customer service, warranty administration, manufacturing, and technology.
  • Partner with the Technical Services resources effectively by planning and coordinating job requirements and communicating to tech reps and customers on a timely basis.
  • Analyze sales statistics to formulate policy and assist in promoting sales.
  • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote product and company.
  • Meet with key clients as extension of sales representative to maintain and build long term relationships and negotiate and close deals.
  • Analyze and control expenditures of region to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed customer expansion.
  • Provide input on new products and current product modifications to Innovation & Technology.
  • Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or a related degree with 10 or more years related experience in roofing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience and demonstrated success leading people, developing talent and achieving results through others.
  • Prior National Sales Account Management experience and/or Regional Sales Manager experience a plus.
