Job Description: Regional Sales Manager (RSM)
Position Overview:
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for driving sales growth, managing the sales team, and ensuring effective distribution within the assigned region. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, building strong dealer/distributor networks, and ensuring excellent customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, implement, and monitor sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Lead, train, and motivate the regional sales team (ASMs, SOs, Executives) to enhance productivity and performance.
Identify new business opportunities, develop new markets, and increase brand visibility in the region.
Appoint, manage, and support distributors and channel partners. Ensure product availability and smooth supply chain operations.
Prepare regional sales plans, forecasts, and budgets based on market potential.
Track competitor activities, market trends, pricing changes, and customer preferences to plan effective strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, distributors, and retailers.
Review sales reports, analyze performance data, and implement corrective actions where needed.
Ensure adherence to company policies and provide timely sales reports and updates to senior management.
