Regional Sales Manager UAE

Quectel is global IoT technology developer and cellular module supplier of 5G, LTE, LTE-A, LPWA, Smart Module, C-V2X, GSM/GPRS, UMTS/HSPA (+) and GNSS modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business for non-cellular business units of all products and services including cellular, WIFI / Lora / Bluetooth / Satellite / GNSS / Antennas / ODM and PCBA
• IoT solution sales or business development experience is a great asset
• Building relationships with the key accounts in GULF market
• Work in cooperation with RSM/RSD in Region and PDM to define target list of accounts and opportunities to follow up together, directly or together with distributors to increase sales and market penetration.
• Work in close cooperation with product teams, distributors, and other sales managers & technical support team and involve the right people to secure design in's.
• Increase the number of opportunities visiting exhibitions, using available market maps, reaching the inside sales leads and webshop sales.
• Check and update CRM database for quotes, forecast and other relevant processes required.
• Ability to Work autonomously and should understand the market and technologies and follow technology developments
• Hunting spirit, frequent travel to meet customers

Qualifications

• Bachelor or equivalent degree in science, engineering, computer science or related field
• 3 5 years experience working with cellular modules / SoM Modules / WIFI/ BT/ Lora/ Zigbee from sales or application engineering role, ideally field based
• Experience of SOC and embedded application systems highly desirable
• Hunting spirit with focus on new business development
• Location within GCC region, preferably in UAE, Dubai, speak Arabic and English business fluent
