What You’ll Do as a Regional Sourcing Lead
As Sourcing Lead for Pakistan, Turkey and Egypt you will be responsible for driving the implementation of Primark’s sourcing strategy, supplier performance, and operational excellence within your regions. You’ll build and lead and manage a diverse supplier base to deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and responsibly sourced products for a global retail brand. This role is pivotal in ensuring speed-to-market, margin delivery, and alignment with our sustainability and ethical trade commitments. This role is central to expanding our nearshoring capabilities, navigating trade complexities, and unlocking Egypt as a new sourcing territory. You will serve as the brand’s regional representative, liaising with key trade bodies such as the Pakistan Textile Exporters Association (PTEA), Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporters’ Association (ITKIB), and the Egyptian Chamber of Apparel and Home Textiles (ECAHT).
You’ll also monitor trade agreements, tariffs, and regulatory shifts to ensure sourcing agility and compliance. You will work hand in hand with peers across other sourcing regions to ensure Primark’s global sourcing strategy is delivered. As a senior leader within Primark’s global sourcing team your role will be integral in ensuring that regional sourcing decisions reflect brand values, compliance to Primark’s code of conduct, customer expectations, and commercial goals.
