Logistics Volume to Manage - 1 Million MT (Outbound 3.45 Lacs MT + Inbound 6.34 Lacs MT)

Job purpose: The Section Head - Regional Supply Chain is responsible for driving end-to-end supply chain planning and execution across multiple countries within the region. The role ensures alignment between demand, supply, and inventory strategies through robust S&OP processes. It requires close collaboration with sales, marketing, manufacturing and logistics teams to deliver service excellence, optimize working capital, and support business growth in a dynamic and competitive market environment.

KRAs-

• Deliver monthly S&OP cycles with high forecast accuracy and cross-functional consensus
• Track S&OP plan and coordinate with stakeholders for adhering the same by monitoring changeovers and inventory. Work with sales and production team to support in finalizing S&OP
• Maintain optimal inventory levels while meeting working capital objectives.
• Monitor KPIs such as forecast accuracy, inventory, and service levels; initiate corrective actions.
• Coordinate for implementation of Blue Yonder /Optimizer and help to resolve stakeholder’s concerns
• Maintain MIS for Supply Chain India and provide relevant inputs for periodic reviews.
• Monitor inter-company movement of FG from one plant to another.
• Drive initiatives to reduce logistics and supply chain costs without compromising service.
• Plan budgets for the year.
• Lead continuous improvement projects in planning, logistics, and inventory management.
• Build strong relationships with regional stakeholders and global teams for alignment and best practices.
• Responsible for contract finalization for external FG warehouses in India . Achieve targeted savings and service levels
• Facilitate Logistics audit from time to time for BC India
• Facilitate contract negotiations for inbound and outbound transportation and develop transporters for smooth and timely movement of material.
• Drive improvement projects (Digital and Process Improvement) for Supply Chain India
