Responsible for implementing visual merchandising strategies to maximize sales. Serves as the key link between the regional team and stores within the district, working closely with Store Managers to support the development of store teams. This role is predominantly hands-on, with the majority of time spent working directly in stores.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Presentation & Execution:

  • Collaborates with the Regional Vice President and District Managers to support overarching visual merchandising strategies and floor set decision-making.
  • Partners directly with Regional leadership and Store Teams to address store-specific merchandising challenges, factoring in variables such as store size, type, volume, spatial limitations, and inventory levels.
  • Communicates brand and visual merchandising updates during weekly regional conference calls and ensures consistent execution of brand standards across all stores.
  • Works closely with the SSC Visual Merchandising team to develop strategic solutions for assortment optimization, ensuring cohesive visual presentation and regional compliance.
  • Gathers feedback from District Managers on in-store presentation and initiates action plans accordingly.
  • Regularly visits stores to assess visual merchandising effectiveness, identify opportunities, and share best practices with the broader visual team through brainstorming sessions and store walkthroughs.
  • Promotes operational efficiency by reinforcing best practices and identifying areas to increase productivity and reduce redundancy.
  • Monitors and ensures adherence to travel budget guidelines.
  • Assists with the planning and execution of fixture and product rollouts.
  • Provides visual merchandising support for new store openings and regional events.

Leadership and Development:

  • Conduct in-store training sessions to communicate current and upcoming merchandising direction, while building presentation skills within the District Manager and Store Manager teams in a structured and consistent manner.
  • Collaborate closely with the Regional Vice President and District Managers to align on visual merchandising initiatives and ensure expectations are clearly defined and executed.
  • Design and deliver visual merchandising training programs for field teams in alignment with the Visual Manual and overall company objectives.
  • Coach and mentor District Managers and Store Teams to strengthen merchandising capabilities and improve sales performance.
  • Set, model, and communicate high professional standards, while holding team members accountable for execution and results.
  • Foster strong, productive relationships across the organization to ensure alignment and support for all visual merchandising and brand initiatives.
  • Cultivate effective cross-functional partnerships to drive business outcomes and promote a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Identify high-potential talent and support their development to achieve performance excellence and future leadership readiness.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain a strong leadership presence while remaining approachable, fostering open communication and encouraging associate feedback and engagement.
  • Provide remote leadership by coaching and guiding teams through email and phone communication, offering actionable feedback and solutions to address visual merchandising opportunities.
  • Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.
  • Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.
  • Adhere to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management.

PAY RANGE: $30.00 - $37.00*

*compensation varies based on geography, skills, experience, and tenure
