Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

ABC with ABA is looking for dedicated experienced RBTs to provide in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Join the ABC with ABA team as we help increase access to life changing care!

Position:

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will be managed and supervised by one of our experienced BCBAs as you implement life-changing care directly in the child’s home. You will work directly with clients, helping them learn new skills and reach key developmental milestones, all with the support of ABC with ABA’s best-in-class technology and operations team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide in-person behavior intervention services in a child’s home setting
  • Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans to help children thrive
  • Collect and record data on child behaviors. Help track progress and celebrate milestones using ABC with ABA’s proprietary technology
  • Partner closely with your BCBA and help inform treatment plans and to effectively implement treatment plans specific to each client’s needs
  • Follow Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) guidelines and codes of conduct

What You Bring:

  • Minimum high-school degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months of ABA experience preferred
  • Active RBT certification required
  • Must pass a background check, MVR, OIG, and Federal / State required healthcare sanction checks
  • Reliable car, proof of auto insurance, and valid driver’s license required
  • TB test and proof of other health screenings / immunizations required

Physical Requirements:

  • Mindful and attentive to the safety of the client and surroundings
  • Sustained physical activity may be required for up to 60 minutes
  • Behavior therapy activities may require playing interacting with clients on the floor
  • Activities may involve walking, running, long periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds

Work Location: In person

Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to clients in various settings, such as home, school, or clinic
- Teach and reinforce appropriate social, communication, and daily living skills
- Collaborate with families and other team members to ensure consistency in treatment approach
- Attend regular team meetings and training sessions

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is a plus
- Ability to follow behavior plans and implement interventions effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
