We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavioral Support Teacher to join our team. This individual will provide direct support to children with autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, and challenging behaviors in a childcare or classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one or small-group behavioral and developmental support for children ages 2–6.
  • Implement ABA-based and behavioral strategies under the guidance of a BCBA or program director.
  • Support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing differences, and behavioral or emotional regulation challenges.
  • Model and reinforce positive behavior strategies using visuals, sensory tools, and proactive methods.
  • Collect and track progress data on behavioral goals and daily routines.
  • Collaborate with teachers, directors, and families to promote inclusive classroom practices.
  • Assist with de-escalation techniques and maintain a calm, supportive environment.
  • Participate in required training, supervision, and team meetings.
  • Qualifications
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with children in behavioral, special needs, or early childhood settings.
  • Strong understanding of autism, ADHD, and sensory-based behavioral supports.
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviors calmly and professionally.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
  • Must pass all required background checks per Nebraska DHHS regulations.
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

Schedule

  • Hours vary between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Schedule may be set based on program needs and candidate availability

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
