Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the smooth operation of our dental practice. Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and sterilization procedures to ensure a safe and efficient environment for patient care.
• Assist dentists during various procedures including restorative, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry with precision and professionalism.
• Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to HIPAA regulations and infection control standards.
• Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
• Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance workflow and patient comfort.
• Obtain vital signs and medical histories from patients to support comprehensive treatment planning.
• Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care, and dental terminology to foster understanding and compliance.
• Support administrative functions as a dental receptionist when needed, including scheduling appointments and managing medical documentation.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to uphold the highest standards of safety within the clinic.
• Operate advanced medical imaging tools such as 3D scanners for accurate diagnosis in complex cases like prosthodontics or endodontics.
• Assist with pediatric dentistry procedures by creating a friendly environment that eases patient anxiety while ensuring proper medical documentation.

Qualifications

• Certified or licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant with current credentials recognized by state or national boards.
• Proven experience in dental assisting within general dentistry or specialized fields like prosthodontics or pediatrics.
• Proficiency in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft,
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques.
• Ability to operate dental X-ray equipment safely while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
• Familiarity with medical coding and documentation standards relevant to dental procedures.
• Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly using dental terminology suitable for patients of all ages.

Hours Of Operation:

Monday-Thursday 7:30-4:30 lunch from 12:00-1:00 and closed Friday.
