Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the smooth operation of our dental practice. As an energetic and detail-oriented professional, you will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient flow, and ensure that all clinical and administrative tasks are performed efficiently. Your expertise in dental assisting, infection control, and medical documentation will contribute to creating a welcoming environment focused on optimal oral health outcomes. Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and sterilization procedures to ensure a safe and efficient environment for patient care.
- Assist dentists during various procedures including restorative, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry with precision and professionalism.
- Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to HIPAA regulations and infection control standards.
- Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
- Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance workflow and patient comfort.
- Obtain vital signs and medical histories from patients to support comprehensive treatment planning.
- Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care, and dental terminology to foster understanding and compliance.
- Support administrative functions as a dental receptionist when needed, including scheduling appointments and managing medical documentation.
- Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to uphold the highest standards of safety within the clinic.
- Operate advanced medical imaging tools such as 3D scanners for accurate diagnosis in complex cases like prosthodontics or endodontics.
- Assist with pediatric dentistry procedures by creating a friendly environment that eases patient anxiety while ensuring proper medical documentation.
Qualifications
- Certified or licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant with current credentials recognized by state or national boards.
- Proven experience in dental assisting within general dentistry or specialized fields like prosthodontics or pediatrics.
- Proficiency in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft,
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques.
- Ability to operate dental X-ray equipment safely while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Familiarity with medical coding and documentation standards relevant to dental procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly using dental terminology suitable for patients of all ages.

Hours Of Operation:
Monday-Thursday 7:30-4:30 lunch from 12:00-1:00 and closed Friday.
