Registered Dental Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. We would love someone with experience but open to help with training as well. You must have a valid x-ray license. We would love to have someone cross trained to help in back and up front if possible but not necessary. Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments.
• Take X-rays, as needed, digital
• Maintain accurate medical records and patient information in compliance with regulations.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups to ensure optimal patient flow.
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care

Requirements

• Experience as a Dental Assistant
• Proficiency in dental terminology and familiarity with dentrix ascend software is an advantage.
• Knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques is highly desirable.
• Experience with medical imaging and maintaining medical records is beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
