Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires proficiency in various dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and sterile environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
• Perform tasks such as taking X-rays, applying topical anesthetics, and assisting with dental impressions using a 3D scanner.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation for patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
• Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Manage dental equipment and supplies, including sterilization processes and inventory control.
• Utilize Eaglesoft software for scheduling appointments, managing patient information, and billing processes.
• Stay updated on dental terminology, aseptic techniques, and advancements in prosthodontics.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is necessary.
• Proficiency in using Eaglesoft software for medical documentation and patient management.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques is essential.
• Experience with X-ray technology and medical imaging is mandatory.
• Familiarity with prosthodontics procedures is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification or training in dental assisting is mandatory.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
