Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

This is an opportunity to join the dream team of Pediatric dentistry! As a Dental Assistant, you will assist in delivering outstanding care and experiences for our patients.

Job Type: Full-time or Part Time (At least 3 Days per week, Full Days)

Responsibilities:

• Ensure quality patient service by providing thorough patient care, effective communication, and personal attention.
• Prepare the treatment rooms, patient records, equipment, and necessary instruments for dental procedures
• Provide chairside assistance to the doctor including but not limited to: basic and complex restorative, surgical, endodontic, pediatric, emergency, and preventative dental procedures
• Record accurate and concise patient and treatment information for clinical notes
• Take dental radiographs (x-rays) and impressions
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care prior to and following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
• Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
• Monitor inventory and ordering of dental supplies.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

• Current Texas RDA license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent customer service skills and professionalism
• Team oriented
• Outstanding problem solving and communication skills
• Strong computer skills (google docs, dental software, etc.)

Preferred Skills and Certifications:

• N2O monitoring Certification (can get within 30 days of hire if needed)
• Coronal Polishing Certification (can get within 30 days of hire if needed)
• Experience working with Sedation Dentistry
• Leadership capabilities
