$27–$32 per hour DOE

Sierra Dental is a well-organized, patient-centered private practice seeking an experienced Lead Dental Assistant to join our clinical team.

We value efficiency, teamwork, and a predictable, well-run back office. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys maintaining strong clinical flow, supporting team organization, and taking pride in a prepared and efficient clinical environment.

Schedule
Monday–Thursday
8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Alternative Work Week Schedule (4 days / 32 hours)
Occasional Fridays with notice

Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting (restorative and surgical procedures)
• Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols
• Ensure operatories are prepared for efficient daily flow
• Track and manage lab cases
• Oversee handpiece maintenance and back-office organization
• Support hygiene and front office as needed for smooth operations
• Assist with coordination of back-office workflow

Opening target: 30–45 minutes
Closing target: 60–90 minutes

Qualifications

• 2+ years dental assisting experience
• Strong clinical and infection control skills
• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Open Dental experience preferred
• RDA preferred but not required
