Registered Dental Hygienist

Join our dynamic dental team as a West Virginia licensed Dental Hygienist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care! Duties

  • Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing. Comprehensive periodontal charting. Detailed periodontal treatment such as root planing and curettage.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and oral examinations.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies tailored to their needs.
  • Assist with chairside procedures such as dental imaging, medical imaging, and applying topical agents.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols.
  • Ensure infection control standards are strictly followed through aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures.
  • Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to deliver efficient, high-quality general dentistry services.

Requirements

  • Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations.
  • Proficiency with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for documentation review and medical coding
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical terminology.
  • Ability to perform four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency during procedures.
