Registered General Nurse -Female (Medical-Surgical, Operating Room)

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered General Nurse (RGN) with 3–5 years of proven experience in Medical-Surgical, Operating Room (OR), Preoperative, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) settings. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care, support surgical teams, and ensure optimal patient outcomes across the perioperative continuum.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in medical-surgical wards, OR, preoperative, and PACU units.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs, administer medications, and manage post-operative recovery.
• Prepare patients for surgery, including preoperative assessments and education.
• Deliver compassionate care, emotional support, and clear communication to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, interventions, and progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and adherence to hospital policies.
• Uphold infection control standards and patient safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered General Nurse (RGN) license/registration.
• Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience in Medical-Surgical, OR, Preoperative, and PACU settings.
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices, patient monitoring, and emergency response.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Skills

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Specialized training in perioperative nursing or critical care.
