Registered General Nurse-Home Care

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments to identify care needs.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications, injections, IV therapy, and other medical treatments.
• Perform wound care, catheter care, and other specialized nursing procedures.
• Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, and symptoms.
• Communicate changes in patient health status to physicians and care coordinators.
• Educate patients and family members on medication management, disease care, and home-care routines.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living when required (hygiene, mobility, feeding).
• Ensure a safe home environment by identifying risks and making recommendations.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with doctors, therapists, and the home-care team to deliver holistic care.
• Follow infection-control and patient safety protocols at all times.
• Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families.
