The Registered Nurse will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating direct and indirect clinical care to patients. They will competently function as a member of the interdisciplinary team to provide patient and community centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in family practice settings, skilled nurse facilities, and acute care settings including isolation units as patient conditions require.
- Assist medical providers with procedures and treatments as allowed within licensed scope of work.
- Assessment and documentation of the patient’s vital signs, chief complaints, medical history, and prescribed medications.
- Establish observable and documentable patient goals utilizing appropriate care plans.
- Report all changes in patient’s conditions to the medical provider.
- Proactively and independently administer basic care, including but not limited to inserting catheters with blood specimen collection, urine collection and EKG’s, visual acuity, basic wound care.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program or international equivalent.
- Must hold valid, current QCHP nursing license.
- Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience.
- Experience in a clinic or hospital setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment and multi-task effectively.
