Position Summary:

Seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse to provide high-quality care in a culturally rich and diverse environment. This facility serves a 4,400-square-mile area across the Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute communities. Nurses here support patients of all ages and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.


Shift Details:

  • 4x10
  • Days | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient-centered care in accordance with physician orders, nursing standards, and hospital policies.
  • Perform nursing procedures independently, considering specific patient conditions and treatments.
  • Support individuals and families across the lifespan in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of medical providers including surgeons, pediatricians, OB/GYNs, and specialists.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety and quality standards.


Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Valid, unrestricted RN license from any U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth
  • Certifications (must be maintained throughout employment): Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – American Heart Association
  • Pediatric Trauma Care After Resuscitation (P-CAR) – within 6 months of hire
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – within 6 months of hire


Additional Information:

  • Housing: Shared units available at $600/month (no family or pets; housing application required 2 weeks prior to start)
  • Facility Overview: 73-bed hospital
  • Level of care includes emergency services, surgery, OB/GYN, dental, ophthalmology, and more
  • Approximately 49% of surgeries are outpatient
  • Community: Located on the Colorado Plateau in Northwestern Arizona, serving a culturally diverse population
