Registered Nurse

Job Title: CVICU Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Location: Glendale, AZ OR Mesa, AZ

Position Summary:

Seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse to provide high-acuity cardiovascular care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role requires a minimum of 24 months of current CVICU experience and a strong commitment to patient safety and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients.
• Monitor and manage advanced life support equipment and therapies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records.
• Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as scheduled by the facility.
• Float to other departments within competency as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU experience – Required
• Active Arizona RN license – Must be verified within 30 days of submission
• Certifications (must be active and from AHA or American Red Cross): Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• No license hits – Required
• Travel nursing experience – Preferred

Submission Requirements:

• Candidates must not have an Arizona home address on their driver’s license (copy required).
• Banner-specific cover page must be fully completed.
• Resume must include facility names, sizes, trauma levels, and units worked.
• Skills checklist (less than 1 year old) specific to CVICU.
• All RTO must be listed on the cover page (max 7 days; no RTO in first week or holidays).
• Flu vaccination status must be included; declination forms available upon request.
• Candidate must be pre-closed and ready to accept.
