Registered Nurse

Key Responsibilities:Clinical Support

• Assist dentists during procedures such as extractions, root canals, implants, and oral surgeries.
• Prepare dental instruments, materials, and equipment before procedures.
• Monitor and record patients’ vital signs before, during, and after treatments.
• Administer medications (local anesthesia assistance, analgesics, antibiotics) as per the dentist’s instructions.
• Provide chairside assistance and ensure proper patient comfort.

Patient Care

• Educate patients about pre- and post-treatment care, oral hygiene, and recovery instructions.
• Assist in managing anxious or nervous patients with professional and empathetic communication.
• Maintain accurate and updated patient medical records.

Infection Control & Safety

• Ensure strict adherence to sterilization protocols and infection-control standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dental operatory and clinical areas.
• Handle clinical waste and sharps safely according to guidelines.

Administrative Duties

• Schedule and follow up on patient appointments when required.
• Maintain inventory of clinical supplies and request stock replenishments.
• Assist in preparing reports, incident documentation, and compliance files.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSc Nursing) or relevant diploma.
• Valid RN license from the local health authority (DHA / DOH / MOH as applicable).
• Previous experience in a dental or medical clinic preferred.
• Strong knowledge of infection control protocols.
• Good communication, teamwork, and patient-handling skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in fast-paced situations.

• Familiarity with dental instruments and procedures (training can be provided).
• Empathy and patient-centred care approach.
• Organization and time-management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
