Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Registered Nurse based in Multan. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for directly providing high-quality patient care, administering medications, monitoring patient recovery and condition, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Key Responsibilities

1. Clinical Care & Patient Management

• Provide direct nursing care, including assessment, vital monitoring, medication administration, and documentation.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs.
• Maintain high standards of infection control, patient safety, and clinical hygiene.
• Assist physicians during rounds, procedures, and examinations.
• Ensure timely escalation of any clinical deterioration or safety concerns.

2. Nursing Documentation & Reporting

• Accurately record nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR/medical charts.
• Maintain proper handover during shift change with comprehensive updates.
• Ensure all documentation adheres to hospital policies and regulatory standards.

3. Coordination & Communication

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, pharmacists, allied health) for coordinated patient care.
• Provide education to patients and families related to treatment plans and discharge care.
• Maintain professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.

4. Medication & Equipment Management

• Administer medications safely following the 5 Rights of Medication Administration.
• Ensure proper handling and usage of medical equipment (IV pumps, monitors, oxygen devices, etc.).
• Report equipment malfunction and ensure availability of required supplies.

5. Compliance, Standards & Patient Safety

• Adhere to hospital’s nursing protocols, clinical pathway guidelines, and accreditation standards.
• Follow infection prevention and control (IPC) practices at all times.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement activities.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold the Code of Conduct.

Qualification & Experience Requirements

• Education: Minimum Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Mandatory.
• License/Certification: Valid PNC License.
• Experience: 0–3 years of clinical experience (fresh BSN graduates may also apply depending on hospital policy).
