Job Summary

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to determine individual needs.
• Administer medications and injections accurately, following established protocols and ensuring client safety at all times.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner to document patient information thoroughly and accurately.
• Provide specialized care for patients with complex conditions including cardiac issues, infectious diseases, trauma injuries, or neurological disorders.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and pharmacology to deliver informed patient care.
• Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems documentation and communication.
• Experience with specialized procedures including catheterization (cardiac or urinary), sonography, gastroscopy, or spinal taps.
• Strong understanding of infection control practices and HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and safety.
• Demonstrated capability working with diverse populations including geriatrics (including dementia or Alzheimer’s care), behavioral health clients, or individuals with developmental disabilities.
