References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Required Skills/Experience: Skillset Requirements: Level 1 or Level II Trauma Experience, Telemetry, IV Start, and Cardiac Drips - Titrate. Skills: Cardiac Telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, Medications, Titrate Cardiac drips.
Required Credentials: ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID.
Unit/Facility Details: Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities. Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SD.
Special Requests:
Shift & Scheduling: Weekends: Travelers are expected to work every other week per their contract. Pending operational needs, consecutive weekends may be needed based on the greatest need.
Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals. Refusal to float may end in termination of contract. Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital/s near by.
