Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 22 months of Emergency Department experience.
Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license

ER Holding

Required Skills/Experience: ER observation/holding or MS/tele experience

IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, ER Holding, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Tracheostomy care/management, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), Renal failure, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Feeding tube care and management, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, PCA, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac, IV insulin protocols, Titration of Insulin drips.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with Tele, PCU/Stepdown acceptable

Accessing/Managing Ports, Arterial line management, Cardiac Telemetry, MS/Tele, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Telemetry, Care of Ventilated Patient, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Seizure disorders, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Ortho trauma, Peripheral nerve block catheters, Surgical drains, and Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD).

Teaching Hospital Experience, Community Hospital Experience, LTAC Experience, Trauma Level I Experience

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
