Medsurg Ortho Neuro

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have experience with ortho patients & PCA Pumps

Required Credentials: References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to. If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Requirement Every-other-weekend. Weekend shifts for Days are Sat/Sun

• Holiday Requirement Holidays will depend on the needs of the unit. If they don't have enough perm staff to cover holidays, travelers would be expected to work holidays.

• Call or standby requirement: Depending on their contract they could be called off for low census. (Traveler would need to discuss the specifics w/ their recruiter if they have questions about this.)

Floating Requirements: Travelers are the 1st to float. Floating is required to any MedSurg units. If floated to Tele they would be assigned patients w/ in skillset.
