Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license

BLS (Required)
ACLS (Required)
CCRN (Preferred)
Vaccinations
COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
Flu vaccination required. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Trach chare, chest tube management, PIV starts, glucometer,
- Common drips: Insulin drips, Heparin drips, narcotic drips, paralytic drips, actively titrate vasopressors, sedation drips, cardiac drips, etc
Required Credentials: Traveler will be required to pass an EKG competency exam during onboarding
Shift & Scheduling:
- Weekend Rotation 6 shifts in a 6 week schedule (6 individual shifts out of 12) or every other weekend
- Holiday Expectations: work one shift of each major holiday (Thanksgiving Day or day after + 12/24 or 12/25 + 12/31 or 1/1)
Floating Requirements: Will float to all ICU at main campus- CCU, MICU, NICU, PCU, CVICU and STICU, to float to all Med/Tele units in house, as needed
