Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Clinical Skills: Head-Toe Assessment, IV placement, medication administration, respiratory support, nasogastric/gastric tube feeding, lab collection, use of oxygen therapy devices (nasal cannula, high flow set up). Advanced skills needed: Chest Tube Maintenance.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Patient Experience requirements: 1-3 years preferred.

Required Credentials: Certifications: Certified Pediatric Nurse.

Shift & Scheduling: Scheduling requirements: Weekend Commitment: every other weekend. A shift work Saturday/Sunday and P shift work Friday/Saturday.

Floating Requirements: Traveler will float to PICU to take step-down patients. Travelers may be assigned to Labor and Delivery Recovery Post-Partum unit for the care of healthy newborns. Adult care support as Techs may also be needed.
