Additional Details:

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Required Skills/Experience: Skills: Labor and Delivery Management, Circulate for C-section, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Care, Preceptor skills (See Text Box for addl req), Epic Hardstop.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Skills: Scrub for C-Section, Telemetry Interpretation.

Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID. Cert: ACLS, BLS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only. NRP: AAP, AHA or Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS).

Preferred Credentials: Cert: C-EFM *will take in lieu of Advanced AWHONN.

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. Open to accommodating block schedule: Per manager discretion.

Shift & Scheduling: Must be flexible working weekends. Weekend req: Depends on length of contract.

Floating Requirements: To mother baby. Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospitals near by. Though not always necessary, Travelers must agree to float between Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center Torrance and Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro. Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
