24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of PCU Float Pool experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.
3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References

Additional Details:

MS/Tele / PCU - Required

Required Skills / Experience: At least 1 year in PCU setting.

Nurses must be able to interpret strips

Required Credentials: Clinician must take and pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts prior to signing contract. - 80% to pass

Unit / Facility Details: Patient Ratios: PCU 1/4, MedSurg Tele 1/5-6.

Special Requests: An interview may not be available prior to offer.

ER float positions will require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established, however this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly at. A schedule will be made in advance, so clinicians is aware of what location they'll be reporting to.

Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

RNs required to titrate drips

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: Every Other

Scheduler for float pool will make the schedule.

Schedule is published 6 weeks out for 4 weeks at a time. Travelers will need to be flexible.

Weekend Requirements: Every Other

Holiday Requirements: Will include travelers in perm staff rotation

No Call

Floating Requirement: MedSurg Tele and PCU across both campuses and would include inpatients holding in ED. East Campus is Campus 2.
