Required Skills/Experience:

• General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, Respiratory, CPAP/BiPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, Professional Topics and Skills, Isolation Precautions, Triage

• Within past 8 months, candidate must have worked in an ED setting that has at least 45,600 visits per yr (125/day)

Preferred Skills/Experience: Charge experience, Community Hospital Experience

Required Credentials:

• Candidate must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.

• Drivers License/State ID: Government issued photo ID. A valid driver's license will be required if driving on behalf of MedStar Health is an essential function of the job.

• References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Special Requests: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend required.

• Every other holiday required.
