Required Skills/Experience: Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Care, Labor and Delivery Management, Circulate for C-section

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Telemetry Interpretation, Scrub for C-Section

• Precepting Skills preferred. Looking for a strong caregiver who can support PM shift.

Required Credentials:

• You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

• Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

• BLS & ACLS: Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only.

• NRP: Current certification issued by an acceptable agency - AAP, AHA or Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS).

• Drivers License/State ID: Government issued photo ID.

• References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Special Requests:

• Block schedule per manager discretion.

• RTO must be listed at time of submission.

• All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Required: Depends on length of contract

• Must be flexible working weekends.

Floating Requirements: Candidates will float within hospital (to Mother/Baby) or to an affiliate hospitals near by. Though not always necessary, Travelers must agree to float between Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center Torrance and Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro.
