Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Observation Unit (Night Shift)
Location: Forsyth Medical Center – Winston-Salem, NC
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3 shifts per week | Rotating weekends

The Emergency Observation Unit, under the Umbrella of the Emergency Department at Forsyth Medical Center is seeking a talented, compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 30-bed unit caring for patients who require short-term monitoring and evaluation, typically for 1–2 nights, but do not yet meet criteria for inpatient admission. Patients admitted to the EOU often need additional testing, treatment, or observation to determine the next step in their care. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

What We're Looking For:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
- Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
