Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Years of experience: preferably 2 years.
• Experience with crisis intervention, verbal de-escalation, active listening skills, and empathetic communication skills preferred.
• Accurate and thorough charting and behavioral management skills.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Saturday and Sunday every 3rd weekend.
• No call requirements.

Floating Requirements:

• We currently have two units within the hospital; staff rotate working each unit.

Special Requests:

• Acute inpatient behavioral health/addictions hospital.
• Adult patient population.
• Common diagnosis/treatment: substance abuse disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, PTSD, anxiety disorders.
• Patients must be medically cleared before arriving to the facility. Patients with lines or tubes are part of the exclusionary criteria with the exception of CPAPs and patients needing 2L of oxygen or less.
• The majority of charting is paper. HCS is used for entering orders. Medications are pulled from a Pyxis.
