Required Skills/Experience: Neurological/Psychiatric, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Professional Topics and Skills, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Medications, PCA, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Orthopedics, Total joint replacement

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience
  • PICC line management*, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring*, Telemetry - remote monitoring*

Required Credentials:

  • You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
  • RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.
  • NIH only accepted through AHA, Apex, or NIHSS websites.
  • Government issued ID required.

Preferred Credentials: Fire Safety

Unit/Facility Details: No parking cost.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • BJC policy: Every other weekend required. 2 shifts every other weekend. For night shift it can be Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday -depends on who already is on rotation
  • No on call.

Floating Requirements: Could be pulled to any unit except ICU, SDU, and ED

Details:

  • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
