Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our primary care team. This role is responsible for supporting providers in delivering high-quality patient care, including performing clinical procedures, assisting with labs, initiating IV therapy, and coordinating care across services. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and thrives in a collaborative outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical nursing duties including vital signs, patient assessments, and documentation
- Draw blood and collect specimens for laboratory testing
- Initiate and manage IV therapy as ordered by providers
- Assist with in-office procedures and treatments
- Administer medications, injections, and immunizations per protocol
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
- Coordinate care with providers, specialists, and ancillary services
- Manage patient communication including phone triage, messages, and follow-ups
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
- Ensure compliance with clinic policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in [State]
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Minimum [1–2] years of nursing experience (primary care or outpatient setting preferred)
- Strong phlebotomy and IV insertion skills
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with EMR systems preferred
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine
- Familiarity with care coordination and chronic disease management
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
