Additional Details:

An interview may not be available prior to offer. Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 6 months wound care experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Previous Charge Experience: Preferred

Preferred Credentials:

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • WOCN or WCC preferred.

Unit Details:

  • Adult and geriatric patient population with DFU, pressure injury, VLU, and arterial ulcers.
  • Assesses, stages, measures, and photographs wounds; interprets reports and communicates findings with the assigned physician.
  • Assists with wound therapy and implements wound care and HBO protocols when clinically indicated.
  • Functions as a case manager for wound care patients, including identifying home health needs, coordinating office visits and pre-procedure work-ups, supporting patient education and discharge planning, and fostering continuity of care between the wound care center and home, hospital, and home health settings.
  • Clinic responsibilities include triage telephone calls, scheduling support, and coordination with the multidisciplinary team.
