Additional Position Details: FTE: 0.75 | Part Time | Variable Schedule Days, Schedule likely M, T, F 0700-1730 with call commitment

Salary: Wages are between $53.99 and up, based on relative experience. Increases are based on years of experience in the field. Plus, you will earn shift differentials for swing, night, and weekend hours:

  • $2.50 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
  • $10.00 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
  • $2.50 extra for working weekends

Position Summary

Asante Three Rivers Medical Center (ATRMC), located in Grants Pass, Oregon, is a 125-bed modern facility combining leading-edge technology with holistic healing principles. We welcome residents of Josephine County and surrounding areas to experience advanced medical care in a contemporary, patient-focused, caring environment. Patient rooms at Three Rivers are secluded from higher traffic areas of the hospital and feature a central "healing garden" on the third floor to promote privacy and tranquility.

Our PACU staff at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center provides quality care to our patients before and after surgery. Our 9 post-op and 5 pre-op bays serve 6 operating rooms and 1 Endo suites. If you desire to be part of a team-oriented department with a strong self-governance decision making focus, we would like to talk with you!

  • Rotational Weekly and Weekend call is required

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

Experience

  • Experience in an acute care environment is required
  • Previous experience in critical care and/or PACU preferred

License/Certification

  • RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing required upon start
  • BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support certified through the AHA required upon start
  • PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support certified through the AHA required within 6 months of hire date

Preferred Certifications

  • CPAN: Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse
  • CAPA: Certified Ambulatory Peri-anesthesia Nurse
