Work Schedule: Days
Hours: Hours: 8am-4pm, 830am-4pm, 9am-5pm. Monday-Friday, Saturdays based on the needs of the department.
Summary:
Clinical support position involving patient assessment, patient education, care documentation and disease management activities under the direct supervision of Physicians and/or Midlevel Providers. Work responsibilities are primarily conducted in an outpatient medical office setting and/or on the telephone.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION-
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

Current New York State Licensure
-
BSN preferred
-
Current BLS certification
-
Current ACLS, or completion required within 3 months of employment

Cardiovascular System knowledge including anatomy, physiology, diseases, treatment and medications preferred
EXPERIENCE-
One (1) to three (3) years current medical/surgical nursing experience required, experience in Cardiology is preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY-
Thorough knowledge of medical terminology, office procedures and pertinent equipment is necessary.

Ability to perform Electrocardiograms (EKG) and Blood Pressure Checks
