Facility: Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital West
Department/Specialty: Renal Transplant
Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift, 40 hours per week
What You Will Do:
Coordinate nursing program activities and resources within the transplant program.

Develop and coordinate the activities of the transplant program in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, making recommendations and acting as a resource for all nursing staff related to patient care, clinical standards, policies and procedures.

Devise and document care plans and therapy programs, ensuring that care plans are implemented as indicated and resources and equipment are obtained as ordered.

Educate patients and families throughout the continuum of care in all phases of transplantation and/or throughout the course of treatment.

Coordinate, assemble, and maintain documentation as required.

Required Credential(s):

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:

Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
