Registered Nurse (CSSD Technician)

• PREFERENCE TO FEMALE REGISTERED NURSE-CSDD TECHNICIAN
• DOH license is mandatory

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a CSSD (Central Sterile Supply Department) Technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the decontamination, sterilization, and distribution of medical instruments and equipment, ensuring strict compliance with infection control standards and healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning, decontamination, disinfection, and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical equipment
• Operate and maintain sterilization equipment (autoclaves, washer disinfectors, etc.)
• Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage of sterile items
• Monitor and document sterilization processes, including biological and chemical indicators
• Maintain accurate records in line with regulatory and accreditation standards
• Ensure compliance with infection control policies and international best practices
• Coordinate with nursing and medical staff to ensure timely availability of sterile supplies
• Conduct routine checks and preventive maintenance of CSSD equipment
• Report any equipment malfunction or breach in sterilization protocol immediately

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• Valid DOH/HAAD License
• Certification or training in CSSD preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in CSSD or sterilization unit (hospital/medical center setting)
• Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization standards
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
