Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (RN – ER)

Location: San Bernardino, CA
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night | 12-hour shifts | 3 days per week
Pay Rate: $65 – $70 per hour

We are seeking a skilled and confident Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (RN – ER) to join our healthcare team in San Bernardino, CA. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate and efficient care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries in a fast-paced emergency department environment.

This role is perfect for an experienced ER nurse who thrives under pressure, communicates effectively, and makes sound clinical decisions during critical situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and immediate nursing care to patients presenting to the emergency department
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs according to established protocols
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient vital signs and responses to interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of California
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER or acute care experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, multitasking, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment
• Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred

Schedule and Contract Details

• 13-week contract assignment
• Night shift (12-hour shifts, 3 days per week)
• Competitive pay between $65 and $70 per hour
