Floating Requirements

Will float to Tele units depending on the needs and census of the ICU unit.

Work Schedule

• Every Other Weekend
• On Call as needed based on census

Role and Responsibilities

The Critical Care Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to Intensive Care patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures.

The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care. They maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available. Additionally, they provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
