Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $45/hr ($1,687.50 weekly)

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) for an exciting job in Gastonia, NC.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and monitor patients with moderate to high acuity.

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols.

• Manage cardiac monitoring, oxygen therapy, and other life-support systems.

• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and collaborate with the care team for timely interventions.

• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in the EMR system.

• Work closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.

• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge care.

• Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety, and hospital quality standards.

• Provide support during rapid response and code events using advanced life support techniques.

• Participate in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact State

• BLS and ACLS (AHA required)

• Minimum 1 year of recent IMCU, Step-Down, or PCU experience

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (ASN or BSN)

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
