Job Title: IV Therapy Nurse / Phlebotomist

Location: Dubai

Job Summary

The IV Therapy & Blood Extraction Nurse is responsible for providing safe and effective intravenous therapy, blood extraction, and related nursing care to patients. The role involves patient assessment, preparation, monitoring during procedures, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with healthcare and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform IV insertions, cannulation, and administer IV drips/infusions as prescribed.
• Conduct safe and accurate blood extraction (venipuncture and capillary collection).
• Assess patient condition before, during, and after IV therapy or blood collection.
• Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to any adverse reactions.
• Maintain cleanliness, aseptic techniques, and infection control protocols.
• Ensure proper labeling, handling, and documentation of blood samples.
• Prepare, check, and maintain IV therapy equipment and supplies.
• Educate patients about IV therapy procedures and aftercare.
• Report and document all procedures, incidents, and patient progress.
• Comply with DHA regulations and company protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Nursing.
• Valid DHA license or eligibility letter.
• Proven experience in IV therapy and phlebotomy (minimum 1–2 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques, infection control, and patient safety.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to handle emergencies and work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
