Job Title: Registered Nurse (Labor Room)

Location: Phulgran Stop, near Toll Plaza, Murree Expressway, Islamabad

Job Summary:

Join our dynamic Team as a RN for labor Room. RN will provide expert care to the expectant mothers and newborns during labor, delivery and surgeries.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing specialized nursing care to mothers during labor, delivery, and immediate post-partum period.
• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs, including fetal heart rate, contractions, and overall patient condition.
• Assist obstetricians and gynecologists during normal and assisted deliveries.
• Prepare and maintain labor room equipment and ensure readiness for emergency obstetric procedures.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Provide emotional support and guidance to mothers and families during labor and childbirth.
• Ensure infection control practices and maintain accurate patient records.
• Assist in newborn care immediately after birth, including initial assessment and stabilization.

Requirements:

Education:

• BSN with Post RN or Diploma in General Nursing or related field.
• Certification or training in Midwifery / Maternal & Newborn Care preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience in Labor Room, Maternity Ward, or Obstetrics & Gynecology department.
• Experience in assisting normal and assisted deliveries, fetal monitoring, and emergency obstetric care.
